Yes, if you click on My Accounts under the My Finances menu and click the account link you want to change. You'll see a field for opening balance. This will essentially create or update a transaction for you at the beginning of the year. Alternatively, you can go to My Transactions and click the "view all" link. Your first transaction should be your opening balance which you can update as needed.

If I've set up my accounts with a balance of 0 am I able to go back and change the original balance?
