Re:Investment included in Income/Deposit totals?
Thank you for the feedback. The retirement/investment items on the "My Budget" page is optional for people who want their investments tied into their budget. Since this is a deposit it gets included in totals of your other Budget items. You can however change this to an expense . We try to make this page flexable to come up with your own way of organizing your Budget. Another option would be to create an investment account from the My Accounts page and add transactions to that account. You can then create an investment category such as 401k without making it a part of your Budget from the My Categories page.
The My Income section by default is not a part of the Budget. To include this in your Budget, create a new budget item as a deposit and check the Add to Income checkbox. If you already have an Income item, you can create a new budget entry, then select that budget category from your existing item on the My Income page.

Investment included in Income/Deposit totals?
Not sure if I'm reading this correctly, but it seems that all our investments, like 401k and IRAs are showing up as available income at the bottom of the my budget page, with my monthly expenses debited from this amount. Our actual monthly income isn't showing up at all on this page, as far as I can tell. It shows under the my income tab, but nowhere else. Obviously we don't pay our bills out of our retirement accounts, so what have I done wrong? Thanks!
