From the Navigation menu, click on Finance > Categories. This will show you a list of all your categories and subcategories. From here you should be able to modify the name. If your paying from the Transaction Toolbar it can be confusing if you have the same names. If you pay from the Pay Bill link on the My Bills page, the system will know which category is linked to that Bill automatically. If the category is not getting pre populate when you click record bill, please let us know.

Changing Sub-Category Names
Under category "Bills", I have 3 bills with the same name (3 different accounts and amounts). I thought because the amounts were different, it would be okay. When I paid them, it totaled them all under one bill. How can I change the names so that they record separately? Many thanks
