Thank you for the feedback. We've updated the My Accounts page to now show a red currency sign with a negative sign if credit or loan is selected when entering new accounts. Please let us know if anyone is confused by this.

Re:negative amount
Sabeen,
The Admin's comments helped me fix my problem. If you enter the amount you owe as a regular number (aka 5000) and then make sure the account type is either "credit card" or "loan," the amount you entered will be listed as a debt.

Re:negative amount
I have the same problem. The amount does not appear as a negative even after I simply enter it into the credit/debit area.

Re:negative amount
Try to just enter 5000. This box is for the balance owed so it automatically records new credit accounts as a debt without entering a negative amount.

negative amount
I created an account for my credit card, and I want the "balance" to be the total amount I owe on the card. I don't know how to enter a negative amount. If I enter it as -5,000, it will appear as +5,000 after I save. If I enter it as (5,000) it will appear as 0 after I save.
