Re:question on bill due date versus date paid
Thank you for the message. First you will want to setup the Bill for the 1rst of the month in the My Bills section since that is when it's due. To pay a Bill in advance the month before, either use the months dropdown at the top of the page to choose the following month so you're viewing next months bills or click the link Upcoming Bills. Upcoming Bills will show bills due over the next 14 days. Then select Record Bill from the Bill you want. This will record a Transaction for the 20th or whichever day you pay it on the My Transactions page but will show the September Bill as paid.

question on bill due date versus date paid
I'm sure there's a very easy answer to this but I couldn't figure it out myself, or find it in the Help or message boards.

Say I have a bill that's due Sept. 1. That bill appears in my Sept. budget. But I pay the bill on Aug. 20, so the amt paid appears on my Aug. budget. How do I accurately record this so that even though I paid the bill in Aug., it will show that my Sept. bill has been paid?

Thank you.
